Typically we like to tell you about a new comic series when it begins, but Image Comics’ Goners didn’t cross our path until recently, and with Issue #3 arriving this week, we figured better late than never! Read on for the details, including how you can catch up.
About Goners:
Death awaits the Latimer family on December 17th when Image Comics releases Goners #3 to local comic shops. As Goners reaches the mid-point of its first story arc, writer Jacob Semahn (Marvel Universe Ultimate Spider-Man) and artist Jorge Corona (Feathers) slowly chip away at the mystery surrounding the death of Raleigh and Evelyn Latimer… mankind’s first line of defense against the supernatural.
Hunted, unprepared, and on the run, their children–Josiah and Zoe Latimer–must now take up the family mantle as they try to figure out who killed their parents and why.
Semahn told us, “Goners Issue 3 is a turning point in the lives of young Josiah and Zoe. The past two issues they’ve been on the defense as they try to survive the Terrors that hunt them, but with a tragic turn of events, the Latimers are no longer running. Nothing will be the same for the Latimers after this issue.”
