Update on Happy Madison’s Shortcut

First look at Shortcut!Though you may not think Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison production house would be an obvious place to start up a horror movie, it just goes to show they are trying to expand their horizons. The film is The Shortcut, and it just wrapped filming up in Regina, Saskatchewan, which is practically becoming a new mecca for horror productions.

Kier-La Janisse of Fangoria was on the set and reported back to the mag with an update on the production of The Shortcut, in which Regina doubles as a small town with a very scary shortcut that the local kids avoid at all costs, though inevitably some children go missing from time to time because of it.

To the right you can see a tease from the first shots from the film they have on hand; be sure to head over to Fango to see the rest. The Shortcut is looking at a solid PG-13 rating, which means it will hopefully focus on building terror rather than cheap scares.
