When it comes to Prometheus 2, the big question on everyone’s mind is in regards to the sequel’s villains, which won’t be Engineers or Xenomorphs. So just who, or what, will Elizabeth Shaw be contending with this time around? Well, let’s ask Ridley Scott, shall we?!

Per SciFied, a new interview with Scott sheds some light on the impending sequel. Though he’s still remaining tight-lipped about the project, he has at least confirmed that there won’t be any gods or dragons in it. Scott says he’s particularly tired of seeing dragons up on the big screen and that it’s a different kind of monster he’s going to be giving rise to next year.

“With Prometheus 2 what I’m trying to do is reintroduce a fresher form of alien in the third act,” revealed the filmmaker, merely providing a small hint of what’s to come.

Scott had previously stated that he’s done with the Alien franchise’s Xenomorphs so we can likely expect to see none of them roaming around in Prometheus 2.

The script is written, and filming is expected to begin in the latter portions of 2015. Prometheus 2 is tentatively due out in theaters at some point in 2016, though nothing is set in stone.
