Keeping up the punk-rock attitude that he displayed with last year’s MurderDrome, Aussie director Daniel Armstrong moves his focus from roller derby to female wrestling for From Parts Unknown: Fight Like a Girl. Tickets for the film’s January 10, 2015, Australian premiere that Foy told us about late last month just went on sale, and we’ve got a look at the brand new teaser trailer. Wanna step in the ring?

From Parts Unknown: Fight Like a Girl stars Jenna Dwyer, Elke Osadnik, Emma-Louise Wilson, and champion kickboxer Sarah Howett (Viper on Australian TV’s “Gladiators”).

Synopsis:
As a young girl Charlie sees her daddy, a pro wrestling champion, die in the ring. She starts a quest to become a wrestler in his memory, but between her disapproving boyfriend, pesky day job, and psycho boss, it doesn’t seem like Charlie will ever find time to chase her dreams. When unstable nanotechnology unleashes homicidal minions on an unsuspecting world, Charlie has no choice but to bring the body slams and take these murderous Jabronis for a stroll down smackdown boulevard. Fight like a girl; it’s the end of the world.

The World Premiere of From Parts Unknown: Fight Like a Girl will take place on January 10, 2015, at the Thornbury Theatre, Northcote, Victoria.

Tickets for the event, which will have cast and crew present for the screening, can be purchased online ONLY from the Thornbury Theatre website. Tickets will NOT be available for purchase at the event itself so make sure you order online soon if you want to attend!

In the meantime, check out the Strongman Pictures website and ‘like’ FPU: Fight Like a Girl on Facebook to be kept up-to-speed.
