New Pics From Saw V Set!

New Saw V Pics(click to see it bigger!)Saw V … who knew we’d actually see so many sequels to a small and twisted horror film that surfaced back in 2004? In the sequels that followed, we’ve seen a real split between horror fans who like and dislike the franchise. Will the fourth sequel bring them together in happy harmony?

Well, Saw V may be heading in a different direction than its previous entries with the addition of a new Jigsaw and new motives. It all rests on the shoulders of first-time director David Hackl now, but until the film comes out, we’ll just have to wait and stare at pretty pictures.

And I’ve got a couple of them for you today because Hackl’s IMDB page has been updated with 4 shots from the set of Saw V. Don’t worry; there are no real spoilers … unless you thought Billy the Puppet wasn’t going to be back or something to that effect.

Saw V will open in theatres across America on October 24th.

I know there’s a lot of people that like the Saw franchise, and think it’s revitalizing horror, but when a studio is hellbent on making and releasing a movie every year, and finding new ways to keep propelling the franchise forward until it eventually collapses under it’s own weight…well, I can’t get behind that.

    The poster’s cool, though.

I think the first 3 “Saw”s make a nice little trilogy (with III being the best of the bunch IMO).

But I just felt insulted the whole time I was watching IV, so V (or VI, or VII, or XXV, for that matter) won’t be getting my hard-earned dollars.

What is this ‘Saw’ you speak of?

Just kidding. I saw the first two movies. Despite the presence of Shawnee Smith and a New Kid on the Block, part II finished it for me. I’m had my fill!
