Outlander’s Second Trailer Crashes to Earth

Outlander is probably the most unexpected release of 2008. The concept of an evil alien being battled by Vikings and another (good) alien may sound pretty strange, but somehow it looks like Howard McCain is making it work.

Today another trailer for the film appeared on YouTube, and a good chunk of it shares the same footage found on the “>previous preview. Nevertheless, Outlander still looks quite badass. With John Hurt, Ron Perlman, and the hotness known as Sophia Myles in the cast … how can it go wrong?

This is really cool. Its like “I Come In Peace” only set in Viking times.
It feels so retro, I totally dig it. You know, it says a lot about the dragon and viking genres that this movie has the potential to be both the best Viking movie and the best Dragon movie of all time.

This shouldn’t work. In all respects compressing Beowulf, Highlander, Predator, The Relic and Night of the Creeps into one film should be a complete disaster. Like the kind of movie you would get if you had someone locked in a basement their entire life with nothing but a dvd player and a television write the script?

But boy I sure hope I’m wrong cause if it does work it will kick ass.

Looking more badass everytime I see it.
