Another Frankenstein-themed flick is coming our way that looks like a nice cheesy sliver of 1980’s weirdness, and we have your first look at it right here. That’s right, Dreadheads… grab your knives and forks and get ready to tango with Frankenstein’s Hungry Dead.
From cult indie director Richard Griffin (The Disco Exorcist, Exhumed, Murder University, Nun of That), look for the flick (also known as Dr. Frankenstein’s Wax Museum of the Hungry Dead) on special edition DVD from Wild Eye Releasing in early 2015.
Synopsis
Halloween night 1987: A group of teens break into a wax museum for some fun but instead find a gruesome secret awaiting them deep in the basement. Doctor Frankenstein himself has been piecing together the ultimate monster and creating a small army of the dead with the leftovers. Now, the teenagers must stop Frankenstein and his growing zombie horde or be sewn into the legendary mad doctor’s latest masterpiece.
