So “>The Signal (DVD review) has been out on DVD for a while now, and if you’re like any other fan of the film, I’m sure you’ve already plowed through all the extras on the disc to make sure you have the full picture of what it was like to make this groundbreaking indie masterpiece.
But there’s one side of the story you don’t know, the Lewis & Clark side. Sure it’s great that the directors all get their own commentary, and the way they set it up on the DVD was pretty brilliant, but wouldn’t it be more interesting to know what it was like to work with these guys? To be tied to a chair (beard and all) for hours on end? To be the guy with some of the best lines in the movie?
Well, wonder no longer because Dread Central managed to convince AJ Bowen (Lewis) and Scott Poythress (Clark) to sit down and record their own commentary track for The Signal! It took promises of drugs and hookers (mainly for Bowen, of course), but they finally did it and now you get to reap the auditory benefits!
