Synopsis
The story begins in 2010, when Taryn Southern, a vlogger and filmmaker in Hollywood, learns that her friend Liz Miller’s sister Katie has been missing for 8 months. The conversation prompts Taryn to make a documentary in an attempt to find Katie, which leads her directly to the house of the YAC, or Young Artist’s Co-Op, a spiritual organization based in LA. The YAC’s inner circle lives in a house in the Hollywood Hills, and its members include several prominent television actors and artists.

Seemingly harmless, Taryn quickly discovers that there’s more to the YAC than they are letting on. Liz is convinced that the YAC is either hiding Katie or covering up her death, and upon Taryn’s further probing online, more stories begin to surface.

As the filmmakers continue their search, the facts become more hazy, the YAC continues to deny any wrongdoing, and the threats become more real. Who is telling the truth? And what ever happened to Katie?

The film asks a number of questions relevant to stories in the media: How do we define cults and negative mind control? When does influence become dangerous?
