First Look at Road to Hell Artwork!

Ever since I was lucky enough to watch Albert Pyun’s fabulous horror/sci-fi hybrid Invasion (review), I’ve kept a keen eye on his subsequent projects.

While waiting for an update from the director on the status of Tales of an Ancient Empire, his long-awaited follow-up to The Sword and the Sorcerer that’s just one of the latest victims of the possible SAG strike, we were happy to find in our email box this afternoon a first look at the artwork for Road to Hell, Pyun’s latest completed film. Road to Hell stars Michael Pare and was written by Cynthia Curnan. Pyun sings the praises of Pare’s co-star Clare Kramer (aka Glory from the “Buffy” TV series), who apparently blew everyone away with her portrayal of Caitlin, saying, “[She’s] one of the very best actresses I’ve ever worked with. Just an amazing performance that will get a lot of attention.

No word yet on how or when it’ll be released, but once we find out, so will you.

I'll see you on the other side...

Courtney Peldon looks really great in the picture. Her body rocks! I’m excited to see her playing this kind of weird character instead of the sweet girl she played on ‘Boston Public.’

  • Spaceshark

Glorificus is looking a bit…weathered in that poster.

  • The Woman In Black

Yeah, I got the same Sin City vibe, but there are certainly worst things they could emulate. And now that I’ve realized exactly who Clare Cramer is, I’m really looking forward to checking it out.

It looks cool to me. I’ll watch it.

Road To Hell a.k.a. I Can’t Believe It’s Not Sin City.

Sorry to be snarky, but wow, getting a major SC vibe offa that.

  • Bernard Custodio

I designed this poster along with Albert Pyun’s art direction.
The Sin City vibe was exactly what he wanted in the poster.
You can see some interesting stills on the movie’s website roadtohellmovie.com
