Next Resident Evil Film Will Be The Final Chapter

Collider caught up with director/producer/writer Paul W.S. Anderson, who unveiled the latest details on the upcoming sixth chapter of the Resident Evil franchise, including its tentative title. Read on for the details.

“Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is the working title,” Anderson tells the site. “It may end up being the final title, but that’s what’s written on the front page of my script… I’m right in the middle of [the first draft].”

When asked if this will indeed be the last chapter in his Resident Evil universe, Anderson replied, “That’s what’s on the title page; it’s Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, so absolutely.”

Milla Jovovich will be returning as Alice, and Li Bingbing will be back also as Ada Wong.
