How spooked do you have to be to turn down a one-night stand? We only ask because that’s the premise of a pretty fun new Halloween short that’s just come to our attention, which we think you fiends will get a kick out of!

Written and directed by Matt Catanzano, Haunted House Hook-Up comes our way courtesy of Above Average, the online comedy video network part of the Broadway Video family. Above Average is currently a “resident” in YouTube’s new “YouTube Space NY” in their offices in NYC, and it was in the space’s “House of Horrors” set that they filmed the short.

One of the coolest aspects about the project is that Legendary Entertainment’s Guillermo del Toro is the one who designed the “House of Horrors” set, and though he didn’t have anything to do with the actual making of the short, that should be enough of a reason to check it out.

The other reason you should check it out? It’s pretty damn funny. So click the play button below to become a fly on the wall of a Haunted House Hook-Up!
