Trick ‘r Treat Still Searching for Studio

It’s not the good news we’ve been hoping for, but it’s close; Over the weekend the folks over at Moviehole talked to Trick ‘r Treat director Mike Dougherty, who gave them a very quick update on the status of his Halloween-set horror flick;
“The struggle continues. There’s interest from another distributor so negotiations have begun. Keep your severed fingers crossed!”
Like I said, it ain’t much, but at least it’s something. You may recall a few months back, Warner Bros. dropped Trick ‘r Treat without much in the way of an explanation, even though marketing had already been planned and, in the case of the Sam toy and behind-the-scenes art book, released to the public.
Hopefully Comic Con will bring more news our way, so keep watching these pages! Oh, and congrats to Moviehole on their snazzy new design! Very sexy!
