Some casting news has come down the wire for the Stan Winston-produced flick The Deaths of Ian in the form of Christina Cole, who will play the girlfriend to Mike Vogel’s title character.
For those who have forgotten, The Deaths of Ian tells of a man who wakes up each day to a brand-new death, as well as a different life, and promises to be very gory. Since Stan Winston is involved, you know at least that much will be entertaining. On an odd side note, Cole and Vogel both start in the new Band movie, Casino Royale, together as well.
According to Variety, the film has been sold to pretty much every major territory based on the pitch alone with the U.S. being one of the few countries that have not scooped it up yet. Typical. I’m sure someone out there will come to their senses soon enough though; this is the kind of film we fans need more of.
