Two decades ago a good man named Ed left his son for a moment. When he returned, the little boy was dead at the hands of some reckless kids. Grief-stricken, Ed turned to an old witch in the mountains to seek revenge by unleashing the demon we all know as Pumpkinhead.
Fangoria was sent word from MGM Home Entertainment that a 20th Anniversary edition of Pumpkinhead is in the works. This celebration of late Stan Winston’s first directorial effort is not just some bare bones DVD with a fancy new cover, but the real deal. This is how you make a special DVD:
The DVD will debut on September 9th, which is the same day Chucky will be celebrating his 20th birthday with a new video release as well.
