New Trailer Arrives Just in Time to Alienate YouWhat? And you thought the news day was over? Nothing is over! Nothing! You just can’t turn it off! On tap right now is a brand spanking new trailer for Alienate, written by Rick Hansberry and directed by Michael Shumway. Check it out!

The film stars Blake Webb, Tatum Langton, Keith Hottinger, Marlys Miller-Fladeland, Cuyle Carvin, Jack Diamond, Brandyn Cross, Nathan Day, Sue Rowe, and Tye Nelson. Producers are Shumway and Lester Lauritzen.

Carvin told us a little about the project and why he signed on: “It’s going to be a fantastic film. I was attracted to it for a few reasons. I had worked with Rick Hansberry before and already knew it would be an awesome story and well written. Michael Shumway – director, producer, composer – is incredibly talented across the board, and I knew I had to get to know this guy. And I’m such a sucker for any kind of horror or sci-fi. The story has elements of sci-fi, horror, and drama. The title has multiple meanings as well: obviously the invasion of some kind of alien but also by its definition – to cause to become unfriendly or hostile – which you see happens to the characters in this film.”

Synopsis:
At the end of his marriage, David (Webb) leaves on a business trip to give his wife, Amy (Langton), some much needed space. When airplanes start mysteriously falling out of the sky and cell towers fail across the nation, he finds himself trapped. With the Earth falling to an alien invasion, David fights to return to whatever is left of home.
