Walt Disney Studios won six of the golden beauties you see to your right while Paramount received five and Warner Bros. took home four. But I’m sure what our readers want to know is which horror films and TV shows were honored. Drumroll please …

Best Science Fiction Film: Cloverfield

Best Actor: Will Smith (I Am Legend)

Best Supporting Actress: Marcia Gay Harden (The Mist)

Best Network Television Series: “Lost” (yay!)

Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series: “Dexter” (double yay!!)

Best Actor on Television: Matthew Fox (“Lost”)

Best Actress on Television: Jennifer Love Hewitt (“Ghost Whisperer”) (no comment)

Best Supporting Actor on Television: Michael Emerson (“Lost”) (triple yay!!!)

Best Supporting Actress on Television: (TIE): Summer Glau (“Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) / Elizabeth Mitchell (“Lost”)

Best DVD Release: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (remix)

Best DVD Classic Film Release: The Monster Squad

Best DVD Collection: Mario Bava (Box Sets 1 & 2)

Best Retro Television Series Release on DVD: Twin Peaks (Definitive Gold Box Ed.)

    Barring the wins for Marcia Gay Harding, “Dexter”, and the wins for releases of “The Monster Squad” and the Bava boxset dvd’s the Saturn Awards are…er…a little safe for me.

    THE MIST and Thomas Jane should have won best film and actor. I could go on…
