Know what irritates the hell out of us? When people throw white makeup on the faces of their friends, splash them with stage blood, tell them to run really fast, film it, and then call it a zombie movie. So many indie filmmakers have done just that. However, Nigel Hartwell is NOT one of them.
We get sent a lot of indie projects to look at around these parts from filmmakers trying to raise money for their movies. We spare you the majority of them because 95% of them will either never get made, are just plain lazy looking, or don’t spark our interest.
After sitting through Hartwell’s truly ambitious sales trailer for his film The Epidemic, we’ve gotta say, “We’re sold!” Sure, it’s rough around the edges, but the guy has something big and cool in mind. The best part? It’s NOT SAFE FOR WORK! That’s right, horndogs! Here’s your chance to add a bit of boobage to your afternoon!
Hartwell also has a cast in place which includes Danny Trejo (of course), Corey Feldman, Larry Zerner, and more!
