With the Screamfest US Premiere of director Mathew A. Brown’s Julia having taken place last night in Hollywood, CA, here are video clips and photos of lead actress Ashley C. Williams (The Human Centipede), who chatted with us on the carpet regarding the film.

Currently under way at the TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood, CA, the 14th Annual Screamfest Horror Film Festival showcased Julia, a rape-revenge flick written and directed by Brown, which is a neo-noir thriller centering on Julia Shames (Williams), who, after suffering a brutal trauma, falls prey to an unorthodox form of therapy to restore herself.

Produced by Brown and Ty Walker, Julia stars Williams, Tahyna Tozzi, Jack Noseworthy, Joel de la Fuente and Brad Koed. Chatting with the actress, she communicated prior to the film’s screening what initially drew her to script, what sets Julia apart from similar fare, and the impact on her career of her role in The Human Centipede.

Also in attendance for the screening was Contracted actress Alice McDonald.

Be sure to “like” Julia on Facebook here, and check out the trailer below.

Screamfest runs through tomorrow, October 23rd.
