IFC Midnight and Paul Solet Celebrating a Dark Summer

Deadline reports that IFC Midnight has acquired North American rights to Solet’s supernatural horror film with a planned multi-platform release beginning January 9, 2015.
Written by Mike Le (Patient Zero), Dark Summer tells the tale of a 17-year-old on house arrest for the summer, who witnesses a horrifying incident and becomes haunted by a terrifying presence while stuck in his home.
Peter Stormare (Fargo), Maestro Harrell (“The Wire”), Keir Gilchrist (“United States of Tara”), Stella Maeve (The Runaways), and Grace Phipps (Fright Night) comprise the cast.
Dark Summer is produced by Preferred Film & TV’s Ross M. Dinerstein and exec produced by Jamie Carmichael for Content Media.
