A new director and star have come on board for the American remake of the Japanese flick 2LDK, as director Kevin Connolly has been slotted to replace Andy Fickman, and Jessica Alba replaces Gemma Arterton as the lead.
The Wright Girls is a dark comedy-thriller from Relativity and Atlas Entertainment. Bert V. Royal (Easy A) penned the remake.
Synopsis
Kate and Vanessa are co-stars on a past-its-prime sitcom and roomates in real life. When they realize they are both up for the same lead role in a big movie that could catapult their careers into stardom, the roomates will go from best friends to worst enemies over the course of one action-packed night.
