This will be the first horror movie ever shot in 4K Ultra HD. We now know that the release date for Muck and all its glorious practical effects, will be Friday, March 13, 2015. Written and directed by Steve Wolsh (baseball fans will know him as the horror filmmaker who most resembles veteran pitcher John Lackey), Muck features Lachlan Buchanan, Puja Mohindra, Bryce Draper, Stephanie Danielson, Laura Jacobs, Grant Alan Ouzts, Lauren Francesca, 2012 Playmate of the Year Jaclyn Swedberg, and Kane Hodder as Grawesome Crutal.

Check out the exclusive clip below (big thanks to Steve Wolsh and crew for personalizing it; very cool!), and for more info visit the official Muck website and “like” Muck on Facebook.

In other news, the Muck team has already started working on the next film in the series, a prequel entitled Muck: Feast of Saint Patrick. Kane Hodder is returning, and he will be joined by some new friends, including Playboy Playmates of the Year Kennedy Summers (2014) and Raquel Pomplun (2013) as well as cosplay all-stars LeeAnna Vamp and Nicole Marie Jean (who boast a combined 1 million Facebook followers).

There is currently a Kickstarter campaign for Muck: The Feast of Saint Patrick that features some incredible perks, including a walk-on role and the chance to get killed onscreen by Kane Hodder! Check out the campaign and some of the hilarious videos they have posted. We’ve included one below.

Synopsis
After narrowly escaping an ancient burial ground, long forgotten and buried underneath the marshes of Cape Cod, a group of friends emerge from the thick, marshy darkness, tattered and bloody, lucky to be alive. They have already lost two of their friends in the marsh, presumably dead. They stumble upon an empty Cape Cod vacation house alongside the foggy marsh and break in to take shelter. Whatever was in the marsh is still after them, and soon after one of them goes for help, the rest of the group learns that the evil in the marsh is not the only thing that wants them dead. Something worse, something more savage, was lying in wait just outside the marsh, in the house. What happens next is unspeakable horror that cannot be unseen. These unlucky travelers spend their St. Patrick’s Day trapped between two evils forcing them to fight, die, or go back the way they came.
