Sneak Peek – NECA Readying New Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Figures!

In anticipation of the highly anticipated new film Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, NECA Toys sent out a teaser video today which offers a look at their upcoming figure line. We like. We really like! Dig it!
Available summer 2014, the line will include a wide assortment of collectible products designed to excite audiences of all ages such as action figures, giftware, apparel, accessories, and more.
The new product lines will be made available to coincide with the release of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and will incorporate characters and elements from both the classic movies as well as the newest installment. Items will feature fan-favorite characters Caesar, Koba, Maurice, Cornelius, and the rest of the world’s most well-known primates.
Look for the film in theatres on July 11th, 2014. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smith-Mcphee, Enrique Muriciano, and Kirk Acevedo.
Synopsis
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
