Constantine Pilot Setting Up Shop at NBC

Constantine Pilot Setting Up Shop at NBCMore horror is heading our way via the small screen as THR is reporting that NBC's adaptation of DC Comics' Constantine is moving forward, and that means we're bound to see some demon-thrashin' goodness in the comfort of our own homes.

"Constantine" hails from "Da Vinci's Demons" showrunner David S. Goyer, who will pen the script alongside "The Mentalist" executive producer Daniel Cerone for Warner Bros. Television. NBC first picked up the drama with a script plus penalty commitment in September.

Based on the Hellblazer graphic novels, the "Constantine" series centers on master of the occult John Constantine, who is struggling with his faith as he is haunted by the sins of his past but is suddenly thrust into the role of defending humanity from the gathering forces of darkness.

Jesus Christ, why can't anyone else get a shot at adapting comic books for TV and films?! If it weren't for the Nolans, this guy's career would have fizzled out years ago.
