Resident Evil 5 Media Blowout

So real you can smell it … Over the weekend Capcom released another new Resident Evil 5 trailer, which you can check out below, and this one shows a lot of gameplay. In other words, yes, this is really what the game looks like.
Building on the successful formula of Resident Evil 4, opening it up even further into new types of environments and contrasting blinding sunshine with blinding darkness, Chris’s journey to Africa looks to showcase incredible visuals, and the same winning gameplay of RE4.
This trailer also seems to confirm that he’s running into the same (or very similar) parasites to the ones we saw when Leon visit rural Spain a few years back. These ones can be force fed rather than injected, and can come out of mandible like jaws (think the Reapers in Blade 2), but they have the same yellow eyes, and a very similar look to we saw from the Las Plagas. They also still have a love for chainsaws. There are swarms of enemies, much more than you ever saw at any one time in RE4.
Resident Evil 5 is starting to look like a finished game… and that has to be about as exciting as anything else.
