Curious about Syfy’s new series “Helix,” which premieres one week from tonight? Then get comfortable because you’re gonna be here awhile. Along with a new trailer and more “Access Granted” videos, we have the first 15 minutes of the pilot to share!
“Helix” premieres in a special double episode with limited commercials on Friday, January 10, 2014, at 10/9c, only on Syfy.
The series comes to us from executive producer Ron Moore, creator of “Battlestar Galactica,” and stars Billy Campbell, Kyra Zagorsky, Jordan Hayes, and Jeri Ryan. Also executive producing are Lynda Obst (Contact) and Steven Maeda (“Lost,” “CSI: Miami,” “The X-Files”).
Synopsis:
“Helix” is an intense thriller about a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control who travel to a high-tech research facility in the Arctic to investigate a possible disease outbreak, only to find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that holds the key to mankind’s salvation… or total annihilation.
