I saw “The Strangers” a couple days ago… I cant say it was horrible.. but it wasnt great though i did jump a couple times that was about it… Now i can understand the scary part of this..i mean yeah someone breaking into your home and wanting to harm you for no reason at all..yeah that would be quite terrifying if it was actually happening to me..but uhm its not… and i dont think alot of people liked it because there was no point yeah that whole story line would be scary if it happened to us but not in a movie theater.. the movie was…lame.. the idea of it kinda scary… the masks… wierd..the two christian kids were wierd too… wtf was with them neways??.. it was so random and i have to say the end was hilarious

It seems SORT OF similar to last year’s “Vacancy.” To me at least. Is it?
For the record, I enjoyed “Vacancy”.

Just saw it. It’s not bad. It’s a total rip-off (maybe it started as a remake since Roy Lee is the producer) of Them, but it does the concept much better and without any stupid twists. Nothing incredible, but a good scary stripped-down ride for 90 minutes.

Don’t worry Pelusa. I’ve heard good things. Look for DC’s review soon.

I wish I hadn’t read your comment… I was looking forward to seeing this film up to a few moments ago!

I saw an early screening of this film. It blows and is a huge disappointment. There are a few good scenes that are spoiled by an altogether poorly formed film. There is a nice little scene though, where one of the strangers pretty much clotheslines Liv Tyler’s character, that was fucking funny.
