An official production blog has opened for McG’s Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, the fourth film in the incredibly popular series and the first of three new planned Terminator films. The oddly-named director seems to have a pretty good grasp on how to do this one right … or at least what the kids want to hear.
“Everything we’re shooting is designed to be tactile and real,” he writes in the first blog post, “you’ll be seeing a whole set of inspired designs you’ve never seen before, and best of all you’ll finally get to see some of the post-judgment day future that was only hinted at in the previous movies.”
He also posted some concept art, which you can see a chunk of to your right. As much as I never really thought this was a good idea, I have to admit both the inclusion of Christian Bale as John Connor and the overall fanboy excitement McG carries with him with whatever he makes has helped sway me quite a bit. Check out the Terminator Salvation production blog and see if it you get the same warm feeling!
