Genre Heavyweights Collide in Slash/Up

The Internet is a place of wonder intrigue talent and sometimes silliness. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, there are times when fans make things that are either of par or better than what the studios churn out, and when we come across something cool we make it our business to show you. Enter, “Slash/Up.”
“Slash/Up,” is a multiverse fanfilm web-series from the creators of the “Marvel Zombies vs. Army of Darkness” fanfilm. Each episode will pit a different set of retro movie/geek culture icons against each in a totally unique, story driven mash-up, wrapped by debate and commentary.
The first episode premieres Tuesday, October 14th on YouTube Channel WTFLOL, and it will pit Friday the 13th franchise mega-slasher Jason Voorhees against The Terminator‘s feistiest chica Sarah Connor! How fucking cool is that?
A Kickstarter will be launched the same day as Episode 1 (October 14th) to help us fund their next episode, ‘Freddy vs. Neo’.
The short was directed by Brian Rosenthal and stars Derek Russo and Nicole Marines.
