Sony Calls in a Ghost Cop

Well, it had to happen sooner or later, right? What with all these supernatural movies sprouting up everywhere, someone has to keep these pricks in line. Oh, if only that were so!
In any event, The Wrap is reporting that Sony has acquired Ghost Cop in a competitive situation from the writing team of Matt Bass and Teddy Bressman. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the project is described as “a new twist on the buddy cop comedy.”
David Alpert and Julian Rosenberg will produce for Circle of Confusion (“The Walking Dead”), whose Matt Smith will executive produce.
