From the Press Release
Polish-born actor Adi Spektor has made his directorial debut with the award-winning comedy horror short film How to Rob a House, which was completely created on an iPhone 5s mobile device.

The award-winning smartphone short film, written and directed by Spektor, recently received rave reviews when it was one of the top two finalists at the 4th Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival in South Korea and has now just picked up Best Script Award at the 3rd edition of the Cinephone International Film Festival in Barcelona.

“It is really exciting to see the way our seven-minute comedy-horror is being rapidly received by the film industry,” says Spektor. “When watching a movie, I like the unexpected so I hope that everyone who watches How to Rob a House enjoys the thrilling ride of getting surprised over and over again.”

Produced by Blue Phantom Productions in association with Vegan Cannibals, How to Rob a House stars Dave Vescio (Hick), Amato D’Apolito (Hollywood Inc.), Peter Wrobel (Chasing Happiness), and Adi Spektor (Cross). It follows two thieves who receive a tip on a house that they can’t pass up. However, they get confused on the details, and when they arrive for the job, the homeowner is there. Even their plan to escape from the house fails, and they are left to the mercy of the mysterious homeowner.

The USA premiere of How to Rob a House will be held on October 11th at the 15th Annual Polish Film Festival in Hollywood. This year’s prestigious festival, which kicks off on October 7th, will host many Polish celebrities, including French actress Emmanuelle Seigner-Polanski, who is set to receive an award.
