First Images From Noe’s Enter the Void!

Enter the Void poster! Finally, we have been able to learn something about the new film from Gaspar Noe, l’enfant terrible responsible for Irreversible. The film is called Enter the Void, and recently the folks at Wild Bunch, who are producing it, put up a rather lengthy statement from Noe about it as well as the first images!

On the right you can see the poster, of course. Over at the Wild Bunch site are the first batch of stills, which look pretty damn impressive, I have to say. Noe is really stretching himself for this one, I think.

So what is it about, anyway? Well, to borrow a bit from Noe’s comments on the film, Enter the Void is about a young man who, after the brutal death of his parents, promises that he will protect his little sister no matter what and who, sensing that he himself is dying, fights desperately to keep his promise. A film where the life of one person is linked to the love he has for another human being.

Filming took place in Tokyo, which means the film’s going to have a very, very interesting look, separate from anything else Noe’s done to date. Click here to check out Wild Bunch’s full info on the film. Hopefully it will be premiering sometime within the next year, but we’ll let you know when we hear more!
