Exclusive Clip From The Strangers!

Exclusive Strangers clip!On May 30th, 2008, we’ll finally get a chance to allow our eyeballs to feast on The Strangers, the home invasion movie starring Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. The film has been delayed various times for multiple reasons, so personally I’m just glad it’s finally getting out in theaters!

Before we get to our exclusive clip from The Strangers, how’s about a refresher on what the film is about?

The horrifying events that took place in the Hoyt family’s vacation home at 1801 Clark Road on February 11, 2005, are still not entirely known.

Champagne. Rose petals. Candlelight. It was supposed to be a night of celebration for Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler) and James Hoyt (Scott Speedman). But after leaving a friend’s wedding reception and returning to the house, everything had collapsed for the happy couple.

Then came a 4 a.m. knock on the door and a haunting voice.

“Is Tamara here?”

Yep, that’s pretty creepy, especially when you consider these strangers like to walk around wearing exceedingly freak-out worthy masks. All right, so check out our exclusive Strangers clip below and stick around for more goodies from the film very soon, and be sure to hit the official Strangers site for more stuffage!

I make the point below because young people chatting during films seems more common when watching “scary films”. When I went to see Iron Man the other day, you could not hear a pin drop…

    …metaphorically speaking of course!

Note to self: ONLY see this film with adults!

I remember (foolishly) going to see The Messengers on opening night, only to find myself sitting next to a group of teenage girls who just would not SHUT THE FUCK UP. One even started to make a call on her cellphone during the film, before I challenged her about doing so, gave her a piece of my mind, and then walked out and got my money back.

The Strangers looks like a GREAT film, but it has the potential of being ruined by those individuals whose parents have failed to teach them how to act in public, and to be considerate to other people around them.

If something like my previous experience happens again during The Strangers, I can see fists flying… *Grrrrr!*
