Imagine it; you’re fresh back from fighting the Crusades, and all you want to do is chill at home and maybe hang with some ladies for a while. Then a damn vampire army has to show up and muck things up. See, this is why I hate bloodsuckers.
Such is the plot of The Knights Templar, a script written by Adam Torchia (Strange Magic) and Justin Stanley (Beneath Loch Ness), which Variety reports Universal just nabbed for Daywatch helmer Timur Bekmambetov to produce. Good to see the ole Knights back in a horror setting again!
Technically the vampires are here to destroy the Holy Grail, assuming it will accomplish some sore of evil goal I’m sure. Lofty plans for a bunch of neckbiters; just goes to show they don’t make ‘em like they used to these days!
