Last House Cast Come Knocking

The eyes of monsters!

Sometimes a remake might not be a bad thing. Sure, we’ve seen plenty of bad ones, made for really bad reasons, but then there are filmmakers out there that just want to improve on an original and sometimes succeed.

That may or may not be the case with the film we’re about to talk about; I am just trying to convince myself that horror hasn’t become a total studio tool to get rich quick off the PG-13 crowd.

Anyway, STYD got in some exclusive photos of actors Garret Dillahunt, Riki Lindhome, Aaron Paul and Sara Paxton dressed as their characters for the upcoming The Last House on the Left remake. It’s pretty easy to tell that these were the right people for the roles. Our new terrifying trio already set my mind in motion of what to expect as far as blood splatter goes, but can director Dennis Iliadis really fill up the shoes of the once great Wes Craven?

I blame GTA IV. That game taught me that three dates involving bowling would lead to sex with any woman. How wrong I was…

“And, no, blame the STUDIO first and foremost.”

Supply and demand, man. When audiences stop watching them the studios will stop making them. Blaming studios is a cop out.

    It’s Cromartie!

I think you have to blame them both — the studios for churning out the crap and the audience for accepting it. But that’s the state of our society now — we’re all sheep.

And, no, blame the STUDIO first and foremost.

Meh. Can’t match up with Hess & Co.

I REALLY hope this is better than the original.

I was SO disappointed by that overrated piece of crap.

“I am just trying to convince myself that horror hasn’t become a total studio tool to get rich quick off the PG-13 crowd.”

Again, it’s not, blame the people not the studio.
