New Director Entering The Twilight Zone

New Director Entering The Twilight ZoneWarner Brothers is still interested in visiting The Twilight Zone once again theatrically as Variety is reporting that Oblivion director Joseph Kosinski is being courted to return to the land of sight, sound, and mind for them and Leonard DiCaprio’s Appian Way.

At one point or another Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuaron, Matt Reeves, Michael Bay and Rupert Wyatt were all originally on that short list to helm the flick.

Unlike the 1983 feature that had four separate storylines, this film will have one story that features elements from the "Twilight Zone" universe made popular by Rod Serling's classic TV series. Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson Killoran and Michael Ireland will produce for Appian Way.

More as it comes.

So far, Kosinski has established himself as nothing more than a director who can capture pretty visuals and nothing more. He has no interest in telling intelligent stories. Which is something that Twilight Zone absolutely demands.
