In what is no doubt the coolest news of the day, 69 minutes of lost behind-the-scenes footage from 1997’s The Night Flier has made its way onto YouTube, courtesy of a user calling himself “Dwight Renfield,” who was of course a character in the film.
The footage shows the filming of many of the key scenes from the movie and had never been seen before today.
Bloody Disgusting reports that the fan who uploaded the footage is looking to generate interest for a Blu-ray release of The Night Flier and is encouraging fellow fans to sign a petition to help make it happen.
The Stephen King adaptation was directed by Mark Pavia and followed a reporter hot on the trail of a vampiric murderer who travels by plane.
