Kathleen Robertson, Bates MotelThe intense final few episodes of the first season of A&E’s “Bates Motel” left a trail of bodies in their wake, leaving plenty of room for new characters to check in. So who’s the next entry in the motel registry? Read on for details.

TV Line reported today that “Boss” star Kathleen Robertson (pictured) will be joining the cast in the second season, playing a smart, sexy businesswoman and artist named Jodi. Jodi is described as a natural born leader who gets what she wants, though there’s no word at the moment as to what role she’ll play in the lives of Norman and his beloved mother.

“Bates Motel”: Season One, starring Emmy-nominated Vera Farmiga as Norma and Freddie Highmore as Norman, will be available to own on Blu-ray and DVD, each with Digital including Ultraviolet, on September 17, 2013, from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

“Bates Motel”: Season One also stars Nestor Carbonell (“Lost”), Max Thieriot (House at the End of the Street), Mike Vogel (Cloverfield), Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender), and Olivia Cooke (Blackout). Filled with gruesome horrors, nail-biting suspense, and an eerie visual landscape ideal for Blu-ray Hi-Def, experience all 10 episodes back-to-back and uninterrupted of the hit series critics say is “impossible to look away [from]” (Mary McNamara, Los Angeles Times). The Blu-ray and DVD also include a set of collector cards featuring artwork from the show (“Jiao’s Sketchbook”) for a limited time only.
