Two More Head to Wayward Pines for M. Night Shyamalan
The cast of M. Night Shyamalan's small screen foray "Wayward Pines" has grown by two as Tim Griffin ("Prime Suspect") and Charlie Tahan (Frankenweenie) have landed regular roles on the Fox event series.
According to Deadline, Griffin will play Adam Hassler, the Special Agent in charge of the Secret Service and Ethan’s (Matt Dillon) boss. Tahan plays Ethan and Theresa’s (Shannyn Sossamon) son.
The pair joins the previously announced Shannyn Sossamon, Matt Dillon, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones, Greta Lee, Juliette Lewis, and Melissa Leo.
Based on the best-selling novel Pines by Blake Crouch, "Wayward Pines" is an intense, mind-bending thriller evocative of the classic cult hit "Twin Peaks." "Wayward Pines" is set to debut in 2014.
Ethan Burke (Dillon) is a Secret Service agent who arrives in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, Idaho, on a mission to find two missing federal agents. But instead of answers, Ethan's investigation only turns up more questions. Each step closer to the truth takes Ethan further from the life he knew, from the husband and father he was, until he must face the terrifying reality that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.
