Greta Lee Serving Up Java in Wayward Pines
And the cast of M. Night Shyamalan's small screen foray "Wayward Pines" continues to grow as yet another actor is trusting Mr. Twist to actually make something good instead of the usual drivel he's been turning out.
According to Deadline Greta Lee (pictured; Girls, Inside Amy Schumer) has been added to Fox’s event series "Wayward Pines." She will play Ruby, the barista at the only coffee shop in Wayward Pines, who not only is a daily presence in everybody’s morning, but also knows everybody’s business.
Lee joins the previously announced Shannyn Sossamon, Matt Dillon, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino, Toby Jones, and Melissa Leo.
Based on the best-selling novel Pines by Blake Crouch, "Wayward Pines" is an intense, mind-bending thriller evocative of the classic cult hit "Twin Peaks." "Wayward Pines" is set to debut in 2014.
Ethan Burke (Dillon) is a Secret Service agent who arrives in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, Idaho, on a mission to find two missing federal agents. But instead of answers, Ethan's investigation only turns up more questions. Each step closer to the truth takes Ethan further from the life he knew, from the husband and father he was, until he must face the terrifying reality that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.
