As we recently learned, Universal is looking to reboot all of its monster properties and tie them together in a Marvel-esque way, which means we’ll soon be seeing the big screen returns of icons like Dracula, the Wolf Man, and Frankenstein’s monster.
Though we know they’re working on The Mummy at the moment, a juicy little tidbit was revealed today that indicates another monster property is in development. Read on!
While reporting about an upcoming non-horror project from “Fargo” TV series creator Noah Hawley, Deadline nonchalantly let it slip that Hawley is also currently scripting one of the Universal monster reboots, described only as “an untitled project at Universal that will be part of that studio’s classic monster franchise push.”
At the moment we have no way of knowing which monster movie Hawley is penning, though his involvement can only mean good things.
Anyone want to place any guesses as to what movie is being hinted at here?!
