Sarah Connor Chronicles Will Be Back!

Granted, it’s not solely a horror show, but the Fox Network’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” has plenty of fans on this site (including yours truly). So it was with much joy that I read in today’s Hollywood Reporter that yes, Sarah, John, and Cameron will be back!
The network has renewed “The Sarah Connor Chronicles” for a second season and ordered 13 additional episodes. The show stars Lena Headey as Sarah, Thomas Dekker as her son and future leader against the machines, and Summer Glau as the latest incarnation of the Terminator.
Considering that the show, which is produced by Warner Bros. TV and premiered last January, was “the highest-rated new scripted series this season among adults 18-49 with an average of 4.4 rating/10 share and drew an average of 10.5 million total viewers,” I doubt the renewal is much of a surprise to anyone. But since it’s also one of the best installments in the Terminator mythos and ended with a doozy of a cliffhanger, this is welcome news indeed!
