Creepy baby-themed films seem to be the thing to do nowadays, what with Inside freaking people out on DVD and four or five other baby-themed movies in the works. Now we can add Paul Solet’s Grace to that list.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leomax Entertainment is producing the film, an expansion of the 6-minute short film helmed by Solet in which a pregnant woman is involved in a car accident that kills the baby inside her. Emotionally destroyed and a little crazy, she continues carrying the child, eventually going into agonizing labor, knowing her baby is already dead … but for how long?
Jordan Ladd (Grindhouse, Cabin Fever) has the lead role in the film already. Solet’s short has won all sorts of accolades in its various festival runs, so it only seems right for him to finally get the chance to expand it to feature length. Keep it here for more info as we dig it up!
