Friday Night Frights, the on-going film series that takes place in Denton, Texas, has something ver special planned for fans this Halloween season. This coming Friday (October 27th to be precise), their show will consist of a special screening of Tobe Hooper’s misunderstood classic, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2!
Recently released in a “gruesome edition” from MGM (get it here!), there’s never been a better time to celebrate the oddball insanity that permeates through TCM 2, and especially in a crowd environment. To make the pot even sweeter, you’ll get to watch it with the second Leatherface in the flesh, Bill Johnson!
But that’s not all, no sir. The following Tuesday being Halloween, the crew will take over the Studio Movie Grill in Addison, Texas for a charity screening of Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, which you’ll get to watch with the masked psycho himself, George Wilbur! The screening will be for the Arts Fighting Cancer charity, and there will a lot of cool bonsues there for those who attend so make your plans now!
Now how often do you get to see two movies sitting in the same room as the men who helped make the killers in them famous? For me it’s at least once a week, but for others I’m sure it’s a treat! Click here for more info on Friday Night Frights!
