Hack/Slash Gets a Writer

Finally, some Hack/Slash movement we can report on! I’m sick that it’s been so many years for this project to get moving, but I guess it’s a case of all good things coming to those who wait.
Variety reports this morning that Rogue Pictures has brought newcomer Justin Marks on board to take a stab (pun intended) at Hack/Slash. The Devil’s Due comic series created by Tim Seeley and Stefano Caselli follows the exploits of one Casey Hack, a very beautiful and troubled girl who, along with her massive sidekick Vlad, runs around the world killing serial killers. Todd Lincoln will direct.
Though the writer’s name is unfamiliar to most, we’ll likely be hearing a lot more about him soon; recently he’s added the upcoming scripts for Voltron, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and Super Max to his resume. Not bad for a newbie!
