Let’s get blazed! A24 partners with The World’s Best Ever and Buds & Roses, a Los Angeles based medical-marijuana dispensary, to sell two brand new cannabis strains inspired by Kevin Smith’s TUSK! Buds & Roses will sell the two strains – “Mr. Tusk” and “White Walrus” – beginning today through September 26, 2014.
Tusk, written and directed by Smith, stars Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez, and Michael Parks. Long plays a journalist who finds the story of a lifetime in Mr. Howe (Parks), a worldwide adventurer with amazing tales and a curious penchant for walruses.
Producers are Sam Englebardt, William D. Johnson, and David Greathouse for Demarest and Shannon McIntosh for Smith’s SModcast Pictures banner. Jennifer Schwalbach and XYZ’s Nate Bolotin are executive producers.
