Things Get Grimm in The Library

Anyone who’s ever read a true fairy tale from The Brothers Grimm can assure you of one thing… they’re not necessarily for children, and some of them are damned scary to boot! So what’s next for these ancient terror tomes? A trip to The Library should yield some scares!
THR reports that Mythology Entertainment, the production company run by Brad Fischer, James Vanderbilt, and Laeta Kalogridis, has teamed with comic company Zenescope Entertainment to adapt the latter’s title The Library, a spinoff from Zenescope’s Grimm Universe series.
The story follows the adventures of a teenage girl and her brother as they accidentally unlock various portals within an historic library that physically transport them into the strange worlds of the books that surround them.
No writer is attached at this stage.
Zenescope, launched in 2005, focuses on many fairy tales and folk tales as well as myths with modern twists and sensibilities. Grimm Fairy Tales is its flagship title.
