Horror Community: Cancer Survivor BJ Colangelo Needs Your Help

It doesn’t matter which horror site is your favorite. The horror community is small, and we’re all in the same boat despite any differences. The thing is, we writers? We have no union. No one to take care of us. We all do this mainly for passion as I can tell you none of us is getting rich.
That’s why we implore you guys to take a moment and visit horror writer BJ Colangelo’s personal blog. BJ contributes to the Day of the Woman website, which is dedicated to offering a female slant on the genre. To say she’s an important voice in our community is kind of an understatement.
Recently BJ went through the hell of dealing with an especially violent bout of pancreatic cancer, and though she’s managed to thankfully pull through, she’s now suffering from the stress caused by some truly crushing medical bills.
In a world where people donate whatever money they can to kickstart movies, games, etc., we can only hope that some of you, if you can, will give a little back to someone who really needs it.
