Yesterday we showed you one of Mezco’s 2014 New York Comic Con exclusive action figures, which brings the titular Son of Frankenstein to our toy shelves. Today we’ve learned that Mezco is going retro for another exclusive toy at this year’s event so read on to check it out!
Based on the classic 1972 Universal monster movie The Mummy, this limited edition variant depicts the titular character in all his black and white glory, just as he was seen in the film.
Imhotep stands 9″ tall, and the figure captures the intricate detail of each ancient bandage: from his mysterious eyes to his legendary scarab ring. With 14 points of articulation he’ll be able to take out any explorer who dares to come between him and his tana leaves!
One of the most limited Universal Monsters ever produced by Mezco, he is an edition of only 250 pieces worldwide, packaged in a full color, collector-friendly window box.
This year’s New York Comic Con runs from October 9th through the 12th, and you’ll find all of Mezco’s exclusives up for grabs at their booth (#1605).
A select number of collector’s items will also be available on Mezco’s website, beginning August 22nd. Don’t delay because once they are gone, they are gone forever!
