Who do you think could stop an apocalypse that was set to take place because God lost faith in his creation (humans, not kangaroos)? I mean, really, if God wants to wipe us out, I doubt there’d be much that could talk him out of it. But that’s why we have fictional stories about the end of days; to prove my ass wrong!
A huge list of names has just been added to the cast for Screen Gems’ upcoming apocalyptic film, Legion, the directorial debut of one Scott Stewart, according to Variety. Some of the names on the list are Charles Dutton, Paul Bettany, Dennis Quaid, Tyrese Gibson and Lucas Black. The story, as implied earlier, follows Bettany as the Archangel Michael (pictured) as he tries to thwart the end times by working with a group of strangers who have to protect the birth of the Messiah.
Could be horrific, could be preachy; it’s a fine line to walk so let’s hope newcomer Stewart isn’t overwhelmed by the talent he’s dealing with to the point that he can’t keep an eye on it. Shooting on Legion starts in New Mexico soon.
